# ClipperTask

ClipperTask connects game studios with gaming creators. A studio posts a campaign: a rate per
1,000 views (CPM), a total budget, a cap per creator, the platforms, a deadline and a brief. Every
campaign is reviewed before it goes live. Creators join in one click, post a video, and send its
link. ClipperTask reads the views and works out what each video earned; the studio approves or
rejects the video and pays the creator directly. ClipperTask never handles money.

## Connect (once)

Add the remote MCP server; the user signs in to ClipperTask and presses Allow:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http clippertask https://mcp.clippertask.com/mcp
```

## Tools

Start with `get_account`: who the user is and what's waiting on them.

| Tool | For | Use |
|---|---|---|
| `get_account` | both | Role, profile state, to-dos, and their campaigns with earnings or budget left |
| `search_campaigns` | both | Live campaigns by words, platforms, genres, minimum rate; sort by newest, cpm, budget, deadline |
| `get_campaign` | both | One campaign; `can_join` and `why_not` list each rule the person misses; every field for its studio |
| `search_creators`, `get_creator` | both | Creators by followers, genre, country, platform; one creator's page with packages and ratings |
| `list_videos` | both | A creator's own videos; for a studio, the videos sent to the campaign it names |
| `get_profile`, `update_account` | both | Their profile; display name and email notifications |
| `list_notifications`, `mark_notifications_read` | both | Notifications |
| `mark_payment`, `rate` | both | Record a payment sent (studio) or received (creator); rate the other side after it's paid |
| `list_deals`, `act_on_deal` | both | Direct deals: message, counter, accept, decline, cancel, deliver (creator), complete (studio) |
| `report` | both | Report a creator, studio, campaign or video |
| `update_creator_profile`, `set_packages` | creators | Channels, country, genres, handle and the rest (only what changes); packages they sell |
| `join_campaign`, `submit_video` | creators | Join a live campaign (free, no application); send a posted video's link |
| `dismiss_invite`, `get_campaign_file` | creators | Hide an invite; read a joined campaign's file |
| `update_studio_profile` | studios | Name, website, country, tagline, logo (only what changes) |
| `create_campaign`, `update_campaign`, `submit_campaign`, `close_campaign` | studios | A draft, edits, send for review (ClipperTask approves every campaign), end it |
| `add_campaign_file`, `remove_campaign_file` | studios | Campaign files |
| `review_video` | studios | Approve, or reject with a reason, a video sent to their campaign |
| `get_shortlist`, `shortlist_creator`, `invite_creators` | studios | Save creators and invite them to a live campaign |
| `offer_deal` | studios | Order a post from a creator: one of their packages, or a custom offer |

## Rules

- Money is in US cents: `400` is $4.00 per 1,000 views.
- Approving or rejecting a video, closing a campaign, accepting a deal and recording a payment
  can't be undone: only when the user asks.
- Files and images go up as a public https link (`{"url": ...}`) or as base64 contents with a
  filename (`{"content_base64": ..., "filename": "brief.pdf"}`).
- When a video's views haven't been read yet, say so; never report zero.
- Sign-in, linking Google or Discord, and avatars stay on the website.
- Without the MCP server, everything public is readable: add `.md` to any page URL, or use the
  read-only API described at https://clippertask.com/openapi.json
